Celebration of Death?

Recently i read an article posted my Brooklynwala,i have no idea who that is but the article made me think.apparently Sikhs in the USA also have been harassed as terrorist for their beards and their turban they wear!well in India its not the same case but the case in India is not that thankfully.what i am not thankful for is the Muslim population of India is targeted no matter how patriotic we try to act,i myself have receieved remarks from my frens maybe in a joking way but still i received comments such as 'how you coping up with your uncle dying'and 'so are you gonna take revenge'.i took them as a joke but deep down i guess it  was kinda weird that how people easily stereotype you even after knowing you for so long.
Yes,i did say woohoo and all when i found out bout Osama's death but was that right on my part.hell yea he was a dick, hell yea i hated that prick and hell yea he intrepreted Islam in his own twisted way to justify his killings but should i stoop to some fanatical dictator mass murderer's level and celebrate his death or should i ask why wasn't he captured, what bout the unanswered questions, didn't the families of victims of 9/11 deserve some answers, hell the whole world deserved those answers, but what did we do?we celebrated Osama's death and we celebrated it with pride!and the muslim people all over the world is still hated for something one person did.deep down muslim people wanna fit in with other people and majority of the muslim people refused to ask the question of why was he killed and not captured,we did so because we didn't wanna be harrased anymore but did the harrasment stop.even as muslims celebrated his death people will riducle us with question such as 'why are you celebrating,go mourn for his death' and maybe yea we should have just done that not as his followers but as human beings,we should have mourned for the unanswered questions!i still hate myself for refusing to question and joining the mass just like every other sheep and if people wanna call me a terrorist well i just don't give a shit cause there is a huge  difference between a muslim and mass murderer.learn the differnce not all bearded people are bad,not all people who wear turbans wanna kill you same as not all muslims are terrorists

Michael Muhammad Knight

Michael Muhammad Knight
I never heard of Michael Muhammad Knight before june 2010.i got to know bout him by actually watching the trailer of taqwacores.my first reaction was that he is one of those salman rushdie kinda guys no offence to anyone.before i tell you more bout him let me tell yall something,me growing up as a muslim kid is hard see i love music and i wanna make music inshalla one day i wanna also write a comic book but according to Islam dictated by the Imams,Sheiks etc told all these things are haram and i felt like a bad muslim that time even though i prayed, read the quran, didn't drink, didn't eat pork and the whole deal.the i read Mike Knight's book the Taqwacores and there is a line in there it goes something like this-'My Allah is too big and too open for my Islam to be small and closed.'this line gave me goosebumps.
Mike Knight wrote a lot of books one of them which is made into a movie.he is an author, punk, wrestler and a muslim in his own terms.lot of people have criticised his writings but they don't  realize his writings are mostly on Islam from a point of view of the rejects, freeks and the misunderstood, these are the people which mainstream Islam portrays as the "bad" muslims.he is a hero for the muslim youth and he is not trying to form a cult or whatever.what i think is he is just a person who is trying to express Islam in his own way.now does that make him a kafir?or a person who has balls to stand up for what he believes in!
